Flight Time Calculator
Find out what time you'll land — in local time — given your flight duration, or work out the real duration between two local times. Time zones and daylight saving handled for you.
Why arrival times are confusing
When you fly across time zones, the arrival time on your ticket is in the destination's local time — which is why a "short" flight can look like it arrives before it left, or a long one seems to skip a day. The clock you land under is not the clock you took off from.
This calculator does the mental math for you. Enter where and when you leave and how long the flight is, and it shows the exact local time you'll arrive, plus whether it's the same day or the next. Switch modes to instead find the real flight duration from two local times. To compare the two cities directly, open the time zone map or a city page.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate my flight arrival time?+
Enter your departure city and time, choose the arrival city, and type the flight duration. The calculator shows the local arrival time and whether you land the same or the next day.
How do I work out the real flight duration?+
Switch to "Flight duration" mode and enter the local departure time and the local arrival time — it returns the true duration, adjusted for the time-zone difference.
Does it account for time zones and daylight saving?+
Yes. Each city uses its current IANA time zone, so the difference and daylight saving are handled automatically and the arrival day is correct.
Do I need a flight number or an API?+
No. It works from the times you enter — no live flight data — so it is instant and private.
Is it free?+
Yes — free, no signup, and it runs entirely in your browser.
